The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BetMakers, Anthony Perrin, will be leaving his position. Perrin served the organization for half a decade, playing a vital part in its expansion and international growth. His exit is scheduled for March 27th of next year. The search for a replacement has already begun, and the firm anticipates making a statement shortly. In the meantime, Warrick van der Merwe, the present Group Financial Controller, will take on the CFO responsibilities. Van der Merwe has been employed at BetMakers for three years, formerly managing Australian and Group financial reporting, answering directly to Perrin.
CEO Jake Henson conveyed appreciation for Perrin’s efforts, remarking, “Anthony has been a highly esteemed member of the executive team, establishing financial rigor within our activities. We are well-situated for lucrative expansion due to his endeavors.”
This development follows comparable shifts within the sector, with SkyCity Entertainment Group declaring the exit of both their CEO and CFO the previous week.
