Betway Takes Affiliate Program In-House Amidst Industry Shift

The wagering firm, Betway, has opted to transition its associate initiative to an internal operation. This strategic maneuver coincides with a period of significant change within the online gaming sector, particularly in affiliate marketing, which is facing heightened examination and regulatory measures.

Betway seeks to enhance its control and supervision over its associate program in light of these evolving regulations across its diverse markets. This choice mirrors a wider industry trend, with entities like PaddyPowerBetfair implementing more stringent oversight of their affiliate collaborators. Consequently, some companies, such as Sky Betting and Gaming, have chosen to completely withdraw from the affiliate domain.

Formerly overseen by Buffalo Partners, Betway’s associate program will now be managed by Betway Partners. This shift will take effect on March 1, 2018. Betway has affirmed that its existing affiliate partners have been apprised of these adjustments and their potential implications.

Anthony Werkman, Chief Executive Officer of Betway, underscored the significance of this transition, asserting that managing the affiliate realm is paramount to upholding Betway’s core principles. By internalizing the program, Betway aims to guarantee complete adherence to the dynamic regulatory environment.

We deeply appreciate our collaborators and are thrilled to continue our partnership. Our aspiration is to expand upon our shared achievements in the future.

To achieve this, we are dedicated to maintaining the utmost principles in every location we conduct business. Furthermore, we are aligning Betway more closely with our fundamental beliefs and frameworks. This signifies enhanced openness and responsibility throughout. We will collaborate directly with regulatory bodies to cultivate a secure and equitable atmosphere for all.

In order to facilitate this transformation, Betway will furnish continuous assistance to its associates across all markets as it shifts towards internal management.
