Esports Entertainment Group has broadened its alliance with Dignitas, the esports division of New Meta Entertainment (NME), a digital sports and media organization.
The esports wagering firm will now possess naming rights for Dignitas’ Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) squad, with its VIE.gg wagering platform brand appearing on the players’ uniforms.
This expands upon a multi-year pact signed in 2019, which saw the VIE.gg platform become the official collaborator of Dignitas.
Esports Entertainment Group and Dignitas will also collaborate on strategic digital and physical events, concentrating on the New Jersey marketplace. Dignitas was the initial esports organization to establish a gaming facility in New Jersey.
The accord will also provide Esports Entertainment Group access to the European marketplace through its partnership with Dignitas, whose CS:GO team is headquartered in Scandinavia.
Esports Entertainment’s CEO, Grant Johnson, expressed excitement about extending their collaboration with Dignitas. “We’re delighted to broaden our partnership with Dignitas and expose our brand to their vast global fanbase,” Johnson stated. “This reinforces our dedication to establishing VIE.gg as the premier esports wagering platform on a global scale.”
Michael Prindiville, leading both Dignitas and NME, echoed this sentiment. “The remarkable opportunity presented by our jointly branded CS:GO team and esports betting content originating from our home state of New Jersey empowers us to narrate a distinctive and captivating tale at the vanguard of esports betting and competition, reaching millions of fans worldwide,” Prindiville remarked.
