Suncity Group has unveiled a sneak peek of its new all-inclusive resort venture in Vietnam, dubbed Hoiana, which is scheduled to officially open its doors next year. Suncity Group retains a 34% indirect investment in the project.
Construction of the Hoiana resort commenced in 2016, and a collection of operational amenities have been finalized. The preview event on June 28 will grant attendees the opportunity to sample some of the on-site amenities.
This encompasses the Hoiana SunCity entertainment and gaming hub, along with the Hoiana Shores golf course and the Hoiana Hotel and Suites, the inaugural of four opulent hotels planned for the resort. These facilities will be accessible to the public.
“I am thrilled to witness our projects continue to progress, and they are all undergoing transitions; Suncity’s evolution never ceases,” remarked Alvin Chau, Chairman of Suncity.
The preview event follows Suncity’s announcement earlier this month that its 2019 revenue plummeted by 23.5% to 61.18 billion yuan (69.5 million pounds/77.1 million euros/86.4 million dollars), while its losses escalated to 1.5 billion yuan due to escalating financial expenses.
This high-end travel and lodging enterprise experienced a 23.5% decline in income compared to the previous year, generating 572.3 million yuan from customer agreements.
